PPF or ceramic coating?

Paint protection film is a fitted physical layer over selected panels. Ceramic coating is a surface treatment. They serve different purposes, so start with what you want to protect against rather than treating them as interchangeable packages.

When to consider film

Consider PPF when you want a replaceable layer over paint in areas exposed to everyday chips and light marks. Coverage matters: an unprotected panel gets no benefit from film on another panel. Deep impacts can still damage film and paint.

When to discuss a coating

A coating is generally chosen for surface behaviour and easier maintenance. It does not provide the same physical layer as PPF. VORQN's current catalog contains paint protection film and window film; it does not offer a ceramic coating product.

Review the films and their technical details

If you plan to combine them

Ask the installer whether a specific coating is compatible with the chosen film and its care instructions. Get the sequence, maintenance requirements and separate warranty responsibilities in writing. Do not apply a product simply because it is labelled ceramic.

Questions before you choose

Does ceramic coating replace PPF?

No. A coating changes the surface; PPF adds a physical film. Match the choice to the risk and the panels you want protected.

Is self-healing film scratch-proof?

No. Self-healing on ARMOR and ARMOR X concerns light surface marks. It does not repair deep cuts or damaged paint.

Does VORQN sell ceramic coating?

No. The current VORQN range is paint protection film and nano ceramic window tint. Nano ceramic tint is a window film, not a paint coating.
